Long time coming

 Rainy yucky day

Missing someone far away

You’d miss them as well

Billet

ouchy tummy hurts
on the floor all day asleep
Appendix now gone

No one is looking
I'll sneak a poem up and see
What's that sound? Blogger silence

20 years

Today a chapter
closes; a door also but not
locked. Farewell to sleep

Democracy

Democracy works
When all do participate
When not, not so much

Freedom for Egypt?!

In Cairo Egypt
The people have risen up
For freedom and votes

Cars

Ahh snow covered roads
No garbage pickup in days
Now my tire is flat

Henry VIII

Ways to end marriage
Annulment, behead, divorce?
Poor Elizabeth

Blue blazer

I learned today how to
Set whiskey on fire so blue
Blue fire hot drink yum

Snow

Shoveling only three
Syllables in shoveling
Darn darn oh heck darn

Monday after Sunday

One red oil light on
One smoking engine gone bad
A new car for us?

Sunday Sunday

Two hockey game wins
really smoking smokey car
Towed to repair shop

Hockey

Too sad hockey games
Tomorrow another day
Two more hockey games

Twice a year

Twice a year we go
To visit a wonderful
Dentist, to fight plaque

Monday no, it's Wednesday

At eight twenty-four
the bus arrived. 30 minutes late
oh joy, oh rapture

iTunes

Oh my thirty-five
Pages of terms and conditions
What a long reading

Come on

Single parent week

Words I didn't want to read

Another snow day

Heming way?

Never wrote haiku, why you ask
His name is too long
