I have what I want.
Still others seem to have more.
Contentment eludes.

Inside is the place

Why can't I find it?

It's not things I crave
but a sense of belonging

uncomfortable
sinus wave rolls through my ears
seasick, sitting still

painful to cough, sniffle, and blow
doc says, "take these; rest."

after the last train home

headlights piercing mist
damp air saturates windshield
washrag mind sleepy.

my week

ahh three boys home sick
somewhat flu like somewhat not
lots of sleep and snot

cold medicines galore
three snoring masses on floor
tomorrow to school

next day another it goes slow
oy still not healthy
