Jersey summer heat
sticky at 8 AM, it's
the humidity

Louisiana!
Its cursed summer is but

Ah! My first haiku
It should be spectacular
and yet it is not

Long Absence rebound

Many months of no
writing the haiku so sad
winter would be nice

boys still skating here
wife skating much too but so
now summer not over
